Malaysia condemns Nigerian church bombings

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 28 ? Malaysia condemns the Nigerian Christmas church bombings, said? Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman.

The minister echoed Malaysia?s firm position against all types of terrorism involving terrorism irrespective of geography, Bernama Online reported.

Anifah said the killing of the innocent was unforgivable and inhumane, and that targeting places of worship on days of religious significance was even more deplorable, in his statement released today.

He sent on behalf of the Malaysian people condolences and sympathies to the victims and their families.

Five synchronised bombs set-off by mostly suicide bombers on Christmas day, claimed more than 40 lives. The Islamic group Boko Haram, which loosely means ?western education is evil? has claimed the actions.
