BRAMPTON, Ont. - Relatives of those killed in a terrible air crash 43 years ago will be on hand today for the dedication of a memorial garden about 10 kilometres from Toronto's international airport.
Air Canada Flight 621 slammed into a farm field in what is now Brampton on July 5, 1970, killing all 109 passengers and crew.
Pilot error is blamed for the disaster.
Some of those linked to the tragedy have spent years pressing for a permanent memorial site.
A group of developers has now put the garden in place.
The memorial has 109 stones and plaques with the names of the victims.

LEBANON, Indiana ? Authorities say a teenage boy was badly injured when he fell from a float after a central Indiana city's Independence Day parade and was run over by the trailer.
The 15-year-old fell from the float representing a youth sports team as it returned to a staging area Thursday afternoon following the parade in Lebanon.
Fire Chief Jason Lee tells WTHR-TV (http://bit.ly/19Xw7o2 ) that investigators didn't immediately know why the boy fell and don't believe the driver of the pickup truck pulling the float did anything wrong.
The boy suffered internal injuries and was taken in serious condition to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
A 39-year-old woman and her 12-year-old son also fell from the float after the teen fell, but police say their injuries were minor.

The invention of electricity was some of the best creations in the history of man, because electricity has helped to make actually essentially the most challenging tasks simpler and safer. Individuals can now carry on reading, working and having a great time, for so long as they want to remain up, whereas once houses were compelled to nearly shut-down at nightfall, because there is just insufficient light to continue doing jobs. Whilst in the olden times, folks had to depend on candles, and shoots as well as on oil lamps, (all of which were dangerous fire hazards and shouldn?t be left unattended), it?s now much more common to use safer electric lamps for all our lighting needs. As engineering has improved and changed, the variety of lights and lamps available has continued to alter, and there are now lights and lamps to satisfy ever situation.
Halogen floor lamps are a fantastic way because they use halogen bulbs are much better than a number of other kinds of lamp, without using more electricity to light a room, so they are truly much more energy efficient in certain circumstances. Halogen floor lamp bulbs are truly a lot more durable, and have a much longer lifespan than many other kinds of bulbs as well, because of the halogen cycle, this means the filament of the bulb is constantly replenished, rather than being gradually corroded as it is in a number of other types of bulb. This implies that in the future, you will also spend less on buying new bulbs, so these kinds of lights are terrific if you are on a restricted budget. You have to be very cautious never to leave them touching curtains, fabrics or curtains as damage can be caused by the heat from the bulbs, however because halogen lamps can get very warm.
Among the only other problems with halogen lights is that they?re often only available in quite modern, funky designs, which might not be acceptable for some bedrooms which are adorned in a much more classical style. Wood floor lights may fit into these types of area much more readily. Wooden floor lamps are actually a terrific option since they may suit into classically decorated rooms, and into rooms with a far more modern decorating theme. The great point about wooden lamps is that they are permanent and hardwearing, and in case you need to change the decor in your room, you can maintain the lamp itself and change the lamp shade to make it remain in the new decor.
If you simply need to lighting aylesbury a little area studying lamps and table lamps could be the best alternative. They?ll supply more appropriate disposition lights than larger lamps that are designed to light the whole room. You can choose to mild your room with a string of little lamps, rather than choosing to own one huge chief bright wall light in the middle of the room, if you want a room that has an extremely relaxed sense and soft lighting choices.
